By accessing and using FileForge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FileForge is a free online file conversion service that allows users to convert files between various formats, including but not limited to images (PNG, JPG, WebP, TIFF, etc.), documents (CSV, JSON, XML, YAML, PDF), and markup (Markdown, HTML).

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code.
• Use the Service to process illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or compromise the Service.
• Use automated tools to excessively access the Service (rate limits apply).
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.

4. File Uploads

You retain all rights to files you upload. By uploading a file, you grant FileForge a temporary, limited license to process the file solely for the purpose of conversion. Files are deleted automatically after processing.

5. File Size Limits

The Service imposes a maximum file size limit of 50 MB per upload. This limit may change without notice.

6. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service.
• The accuracy, completeness, or quality of converted files.
• That the Service will meet your specific requirements.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FileForge and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

The FileForge name, logo, and website design are the property of their respective owners. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service's design or branding without permission.

9. Service Availability

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

10. Rate Limiting

To ensure fair usage for all users, the Service may implement rate limiting. Excessive requests may be temporarily blocked.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
